After interning at JoySports here in Accra for only two weeks, I have already been given so many opportunities to grow in the journalism field. With receiving my first byline, to following co-workers on air, both radio and tv, I have already learned so much!
Last week, I went with two sports broadcasters to the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram, GH to meet with the Black Princesses, the Ghanaian U20 women’s national team, to discuss the U20 Women’s World Cup kicking off next month in France. I was able to interview one of the players, Ernestina Abamila, asking her how she is feeling in preparation for the world cup.
It was amazing to watch these young, talented women showcase their skills during training sessions. I am confident they will execute well in the upcoming World Cup. Click here to read my article in full!
