As I near the last day of my internship here in Ghana, I start to reflect on how an office may differ in the U.S. This internship has been full of firsts. It was my first internship ever, my first time seeing how a PR Firm works, and the first time I have worked somewhere with so much dancing.
I have loved the liveliness of the office I work in. I am hoping that there may be offices in the U.S. that operate the way this one does. I have grown up being afraid that I would get stuck in a cubicle for the rest of my life. But this internship has shown me that offices can be inspiring, energetic, and new every day.
I am the employee with the least amount of knowledge and experience, yet everyone around me makes me feel like an equal employee and is always willing to help me learn. I could not have asked for a better place to be able to learn more about what a job in PR is like.
